Forrest Medcalf

Forrest learned to play volleyball in college at the University of Oklahoma and then later transferred and played on the Men’s Team at the University of Texas.  During his volleyball career he played outside hitter, setter and defensive specialist. Forrest has coached public middle school and high school, private high school, college and club.

Forrest currently teaches Engineering at the CTE Center in Frisco ISD.  In his teaching career, he has taught every math and science class from 5th-12th grade at one time or another.  Most of that variety is attributed to the five years he taught at the Collin County Juvenile Justice Facility.   Other than teaching, Forrest has been a Construction Superintendent and Project Manager for a couple companies and travelled all over the country building water treatment plants, office buildings, and shopping centers.  Regardless of his various careers during the day, a constant pursuit after work has been coaching volleyball.

Fun Fact: Forrest has coached multiple coaches in our TVA gym over the years!
